I found out this morning that I won a scholarship for a comprehensive marketing course (Mark Dawson’s Ads for Authors). I was so stunned I started sobbing! This course costs $849!
I’m so lucky I could retire at 65 and survive. There’s money for rent, food, gas (but who drives anywhere these days?), and other necessities, but not a lot left over. That’s okay! I’m resourceful and I’m quite happy with a cup of tea and homemade apple crisp. Life is good!
But when someone (who you’ve never met) does something special for you (that might change your future) it’s time to stop and reflect.
Besides feeling lucky, grateful, and blessed, I feel hopeful, optimistic, and confident. I have big dreams, and them seem just a little more attainable now.
